‘You erred’ Group Tells FG On The Raid Of Atiku’s Jet

N4Atiku, an independent Group working towards the actualisation of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition has condemned in its totality the action of the security agents who descended on the former Vice President’s private jet for a search while on arrival from Dubai in Abuja yesterday.
A team of security agents who was said to be carrying out ‘superior orders’, thoroughly searched Atiku’s private jet in Abuja before he was allowed to disembark from the flight.
Atiku and some of his aides who were on board when the security agents accosted them with a search warrant were calm throughout the search.
The ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC, had earlier called on EFCC and other Security Agencies to probe Atiku over the Dubai meeting he had with some prominent members of his party recently.
In a Press Release signed by its spokesperson, Isiaka Abdulai, the N4Atiku Group, however, described the search operation as an unwarranted move and another plan by President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling party, APC to intimidate and silence the opposition ahead of the coming 2019 general election.
“This is nothing but an intimidation and a new gimmick by President Buhari and APC to silence the opposition party and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. In fact, this is uncalled for. And again it shows that President Buhari and the APC are being petty. This government, perhaps, needs advice not to be wasting its energy on frivolous things like this. When there are many national issues waiting to be sorted’ N4Atiku submitted.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently arrested prominent businesswoman and socialite, Aisha Achimugu, following allegations of fraudulent activities related to a multi-million-naira contract awarded to her company by a South-West state.

Achimugu, who serves as the Chairman of Bluewave Exploration and Production Limited, was detained last weekend after a civil society group filed a petition accusing her of involvement in dubious dealings concerning the contract. She was granted bail the following day but has been instructed to return for further questioning in the coming week.

Beyond her corporate endeavors, Achimugu is well-known in elite circles across Lagos and Abuja. Her social media presence showcases a lavish lifestyle, featuring exotic vacations, exclusive yacht parties, and private jet travels.
