Unlawful Killing; Oyo Govt Closes Pete’s Bar n Lounge

The Oyo State Government has shut down the Pete’s Bar n Lounge. The decision was taken after a patron of the bar, Kehinde Adeleke was killed some days ago at the hangout.

In a narration, the twin brother of the deceased, Taiwo Adeleke, 30 gave a graphic details where he alleged that the bar owner, Seyi aka Father Luski shot his brother after taking the gun from one of the security operatives present at the scene.

He disclosed that the killing was triggered off by a fight over a parking space that involved the deceased, his friend and the bar owner.

In a statement credited to the Oyo State Government Commissioner for Information Culture n Tourism, Toye Arulogun stated that the bar has been closed indefinitely over the unfortunate event.

The letter further stated that the Executive Secretary, Bureau of Investment Promotion and Public Private Partnerships, Yinka Fatoki said that the management of the Ttrans Wonderland communicated the decision to close the bar, explaining that a three months quit notice had earlier been issued to the company over the allegation of the public sale and use of illicit drugs by parons of Pete’s Bar and Lounge.
