OYO NURTW BOSS, FELE DIES OF KIDNEY DISEASE (seyi makinde mourns)

The NURTW chairman in Oyo State, Alhaji Taofik Oyerinde popularly known as Fele died in the early hours of Tuesday, August 21, 2018.

The NURTW boss was said to have been nursing an undisclosed ailment for some time till he later gave up the ghost on Tuesday.

A source hinted papermacheonline that Fele died from a sickness relating to kidney disease.

He died while on admission at the Zenith Kidney Hospital in Abuja.

While reacting to his death the gubernatorial aspirant under the PDP in Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde expressed shock at his death.

In a statement issued by the Seyi Makinde Organisation and signed by Dotun Oyelade said that politics should not be used as a yardstick to determine when to rejoice or commiserate with one another.

He said Fele left his mark on the sand of time and prayed for his repose.

Makinde said that the NURTW if properly deployed has a big role to play in the economic developmentof the state particularly in the area of Internally Generated Revenue

 

MAKINDE TACKLES AJIMOBI ON FRESH FM AGAIN

Seyi Makinde in a statement released during the sallah celebrations disagreed with Governor Abiola Ajimobi stating that his government does not always obey the rules of law.

The politician said the present Oyo State government is known to serially disobey court rulings even on critical issues that do not favour him citing the Oyo High court ruling to halt the demolition of the Fresh FM building as the latest example.

Makinde made mockery of the Governor’s remark that Oyo State is not an Animal Farm saying the demolition of the radio station is a good example of a kingdom where some animals are more privileged than the others.
