Dollar Construction Boss, Idowu Lamidi Wins Radio Nigeria’s Outstanding Hero’s Award

Like they say ‘the goldfish has no hiding place’ . The Managing Director of Dollar Construction and West Brain, Engineer Idowu Lamidi recently added to his honours when he was decorated with the Outstanding Hero’s Award by the Radio Nigeria.
In a short ceremony that was broadcasted live, the recognition is to identify Dollar Construction’s strides in Nigeria’s real estate sector.
While receiving the award with his team in Ibadan, Lamidi restates his mission in estate development as a dream to contribute his quota and provide comfortable homes for Nigerians.
The Dollar Construction boss hinted that his company in no little measure had contributed to job creations and youth development hinges his success on working with a team of experienced people that share his innovation in patriotism and nation building.
In his words ‘the dream is to have Dollar Estate in all State capitals in Nigeria, and to the glory of God we’ve achieved that in Abuja with our Westwood Homes, in Ibadan with the Dollar Estate at Jericho and also in Epe, Lagos. Very soon, we are starting another estate at Guzape in Abuja, it’s going to be luxury apartments and a statement project by us. Our happiness is that as we expand, we contribute to the growth of Nigeria in the area of job creation, tourism and hospitality.
The Dollar Construction boss claimed 2021 has been a good year for him as he revealed he had won three major awards in 8 weeks, a proof that his hard work is not in vain.

EFCC Arrests Top Businesswoman, Aisha Achimugu

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently arrested prominent businesswoman and socialite, Aisha Achimugu, following allegations of fraudulent activities related to a multi-million-naira contract awarded to her company by a South-West state.

Achimugu, who serves as the Chairman of Bluewave Exploration and Production Limited, was detained last weekend after a civil society group filed a petition accusing her of involvement in dubious dealings concerning the contract. She was granted bail the following day but has been instructed to return for further questioning in the coming week.

Beyond her corporate endeavors, Achimugu is well-known in elite circles across Lagos and Abuja. Her social media presence showcases a lavish lifestyle, featuring exotic vacations, exclusive yacht parties, and private jet travels.

This arrest marks a significant challenge for Achimugu, whose business empire and social standing are now under intense public scrutiny. The EFCC’s investigation is ongoing, and the outcome may have far-reaching implications for her career and reputation.

A source hinted that Achimugu was asked by the commission to report back on the 30th of March,2025 for further questioning.

Not really bothered by the investigation, the billionaire days after her arrest launched a 30-day feeding Ramadan programme where she targets the less-privileged.

Obasa Missing as Lagos Assembly Sits, Lauds President Tinubu

The sitting, which focused on key legislative matters and a commendation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, went on without Obasa, raising eyebrows among lawmakers and political observers alike.

New Speaker Mojisola Meranda presided over the proceedings, ensuring the session ran smoothly.
