Against Igini’s Claims, Akpabio Produces Evidence Of Voting
Mike Igini-led INEC in Akwa Ibom State in its display of voters register at the Tribunal today claimed that Senator Godswill Akpabio never voted in the last National Assembly elections, because the column of his name was not ticked as sign of accreditation.
Tackling the claims, the former Akwa Ibom Governor opened a gate of evidence, pictures and videos of him and his wife, Unoma voting during the presidential and National Assembly elections.

There are whispers around Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State regarding the ambition of the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Debo Ogundoyin to take over from the Governor, Seyi Makinde in 2027.
Those in the know claimed Debo, one of the sons of late socialites, Tina Ogundoyin is hinging his hopes in his cordial relationship with Governor Seyi Makinde and some other stakeholders in the State to achieve his ambition.
The Oyo Speaker, 36 is said to have began consultations towards this amidst his calculations of leveraging on his influence within the PDP and his hold on the Assembly.
Pundits had predicted a narrow chance for the young politician, putting down likely names of the Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu and FIRS boss, Zaccheus Adedeji as better contenders in the APC than the youthful Speaker.

There is excitement this afternoon in the camp of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu as the news hits town that the Ondo Governor will return to Nigeria today.
The lawyer turned politician was ferried out to Germany some months ago to treat cancer and he is said to have been in a good shape to return to Nigeria.
A report monitored on Tribuneonline hinted that the Governor would arrive the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja any moment soon.
Officials of Ondo State and some friends of the Governor were said to have been spotted at the airport waiting for his arrival.
While away on medical leave, Akeredolu’s Deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been the acting- Governor.
