Aftermath Of Wedding Rumour, Rukis Boss Ronke Ademiluyi Off Social Radar

Published

on

In what many of her admirers tagged ‘nice move’, the clothier behind Lagos upscale fashion outfit, Ronke Ademiluyi has withdrawn into her shell.

To those in the know, the reason became necessary after her rumored affair with the newly crowned monarch, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife.

The story was everywhere that the monarch who had recently engaged on  peaceful visits to traditional rulers and politicians in the country was considering taking Ronke as his official wife, a plan that was aborted before it was actually conceived.

Sources claimed that the youthful monarch and his wife were having some marital issues before he was pronounced king and that he had been an item with the Rukis boss for sometime.

Though the monarch vehemently denied the allegation, but people close to him revealed that he was actually having an affair with Ronke and they were even known as couple among their friends.

The Ooni was said to be having some issues with his wife long before he became king and had resolved to spite the woman by taking a second wife who would actually take her position as the ‘Olori’.

The plan was said to have been ill-conceived and blown to the public with the media feasting on it calling for an abrupt cancellation.

It was also learnt that people close to the monarch warned him of such plans predicting a big scandal that would be too huge to manage.

The monarch was said to have listened to the word of elders and distanced himself from Ronke, a treatment the young woman could not believe.

All her calls to the young monarch were not picked or returned and the embarrassment she got from the supporters of the Ooni’s wife calling her a husband snatcher was enough to make her pack her bags and bid public life goodbye.

Her place of refuge is said to be the United Kingdom where she claimed to be working on this year’s African Fashion Week with little or no time to engage in other social engagements which was her pastime.
