Silent Rage; 1 Year After Fresh FM Demolition, Ayefele Labels Ajimobi’s Man, Arulogun ‘devil’

The war is not over yet! That exactly was the picture of rage painted by ace musician and broadcaster, Yinka Ayefele in his narrative as he ‘celebrated’ the 1-year memory of the demolition of his multimillion naira ‘music house’ the building that houses his offices and radio station, Fresh FM that was demolished by the ex Governor Ajimobi’s administration in 2018.
Ayefele while tracing the genesis of the problem with the government fingered Ajimobi’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy as ‘the man the devil used’ to commit the evil act.
A source revealed to papermacheonline that the broadcaster detailed his relayed correspondence with Arulogun who wielded so much influence in Ajimobi’s government and alleged he was the one who misled the governor into demolishing a building which he had earlier confessed to be the pride of the city.
‘They whipped up trivial matters to bring down an empire I built with my blood and sweat! Can God ever forgive that?’ Ayefele was quoted to have lamented to a friend while on the phone as he claimed he had placed the wrong doers in the book of history.
Toye Arulogun, who is now a partner in a new entertainment investment in Ibadan is said to be undisturbed by Ayefele’s moans as he also lamented to a friend that the musician is just giving wrong information as to what actually transpired.
Another source hinted this online portal that Ayefele wouldn’t have agreed to the part where he was asked to apologise to Ajimobi before his decision to rebuild the structure, ‘he never knew the APC would lose the election’, the source confirmed.
Ayefele hinted that the new Governor, Seyi Makinde gave him 15 million naira support fund as he was the first prominent person to visit the scene of the demolition and criticised the action.
