Ibadan Businessman, De-Damak Succeeds Arisekola As Aare Musulumi
A year after the passage of the late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao the Council of Imams in the South Western zone of Nigeria has appointed the Chairman of De-Damak Group, Alhaji Dauda Akinola as the new Aare Musulumi.
A statement released by Sheikh Abdul Ganiyu Abubakry stated that “the Council of Imams in the Southwestern Zone of the country has announced the new Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland who is Alhaji Dauda Akinola, a business mogul, philanthropist and islamic adherent who hails from Ibadan’.
Alhaji Akinola who is popularly known as ‘De-Damak’ in the social circle is into Oil and Gas, automobile assembling and Real Estate.
The news of his appointment sent a wave of excitement through Ibadan where Dauda Akinola is loved by many.
