DRAMA IN EDO GOVERNMENT HOUSE AS OSHIOMOLE’S CAUCASIAN WIFE SACKS DOMESTIC WORKERS

Published

The able Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomole is just like the biblical King David who had a lot of wars to fight.

The activist turned politician hardly have a week passed without having a crisis to solve. Recently the Governor in the midst of the imbroglio with the students and staffers of the Edo State University where some properties belonging to the government were damaged, the Governor is again trying to sort a domestic issue created by his new wife who allegedly sacked all the domestic staffers attached to the government house in Benin.

A source revealed to PAPERMACHEONLINE that Governor Oshiomole got married secretly to a new wife, a pretty caucasian about a year ago.

The marriage was said to be strictly a top secret known only to top aides and family members of the Edo Governor who needed a wife to take care of the homefront  years after the death of his wife, Clara who died of cancer in 2010.

The politician was said to have favoured the choice of Jane, a beautiful foreigner which he met many years ago while on one of his trips abroad.

The caucasian was said to have fallen for the Governor’s charm and strong will.

Sources claimed that the politician preferred a foreign wife to a Nigerian woman who would want an elevation to the First Lady office, an office Comrade Oshiomole was said to have wanted to keep vacant as a sign of respect to his late wife.

The Caucasian who recently relocated fully back to Nigeria is said to be unconcerned with governance or politics, all she does is to stay at home while her Governor-husband goes about his political duties.

As part of the wife’s effort to comfortably settle into the Edo Government house was the need to trim the number of domestic staffers attached to them.

The woman was said to have mooted the idea to her husband that she needed some privacy and raised the reasons for the disengagement of some workers.

Some of the cooks, gardners, cleaners and other domestic staffers attached to the Government house were sacked with the approval of the Governor before the christmas period in 2014. The sacks were effected by a memo raising the needs to cut down the heavy loads and wastages incurred by the government.

Seeking the reaction of the Edo State Government, PAPERMACHEONLINE sent a message to Governor Adams Oshiomole’s media aides, Louis Odion and Kasim Afegbua, both men as at the time of publishing the story failed to respond to the messages.
